>> Defibrillator Project
update and training
The campaign to buy seven
defibrillators in the community has proved to be very successful and it is
hoped that they will be in place by early May. The house-to-house collection
raised £6,430-72 with contributions from
the following local businesses and organisations :- Powercut Oaklands, A&C
Harries Aggregates, Wyn Car Sales, Carmarthen Decorating, OC Davies Garage,
Idole Sports and Social Association, Merched y Wawr Glannau Pibwr, Little
Bambinos Nursery, Seventh Day Adventists and
Llandyfaelog Pensioners Association. In addition, St. Ishmael YFC,
Meithrinfa Cywion Bach and the Red Lion also organised fund-raising events. The
support and co-operation of Llandyfaelog Community Council is also appreciated.
Many thanks to all concerned.
