Y Clwb


Would you like to improve your conversational skills in Welsh?  If so, then you might be interested in joining Y Clwb in the Llandyfaelog,  Cwmffrwd,  Idole and Croes-y-Ceiliog area.  During the winter months a range of activities will be presented by a team of local volunteers.  This will be an ideal opportunity to socialise and make new friends.  Y Clwb is free and is open to all ages.  Please come and join us on every other Mondays during the winter months in the Red Lion, Llandyfaelog and find out more about the activities of Y Clwb.

Llandyfaelog Pensioners Association 

During the summer break the second event will be on Tuesday 23rd July.   This will be a mystery trip with afternoon tea departing 8.30 am from CwmffrwdAny member wishing to attend and in need of a lift, to Cwmffrwd contact the secretary.

Short Mat Bowls

The club will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7.30 PM in Llandyfaelog Hall.   All enquiries to Caroline Stiles (01267) 267245.  Three members of Llandyfaelog Short Matt Bowls Club represented Wales at the Under 21 International Game against England on Sunday 24th March in Tamworth. Gethin Jones, Henry Bennett and Luke Davies took part in the tournament. Gethin co-captained Wales and the three played together in one game which was a victory for Wales. Gethin is from Llandyfaelog, Henry and Luke are from the St Ishmaels Community.
